Bella Comotto is a 17-year-old award winning Maryland based actress & singer. Starting her theatre career at age 4, Bella has worked on over 40 productions in the last 13 years.
A mezzo soprano who frequently shifts vocal parts, she is highly trained in voice, taking consist lessons with acclaimed teacher Rebecca Rossello (M.A.) since 2017. Bella has been coached by countless of the biggest stars on Broadway. Bella was recognized for her performance as JoJo in Children’s Playhouse of Maryland’s Seussical, winning her the “Outstanding Performer Award” - awarded by Jelani Alladin. Bella was the singular 2024 Thespy award winner in the musical theatre category in the state of Maryland. Bella has trained extensively with various programs including Broadway Evolved and Young Performers of America. She proudly made her New York debut at 54 Below last August. Her favorite roles include The Witch in Into the Woods, Wednesday in The Addams Family, Fantine in Les Miserables, Rizzo in Grease, Janis in Mean Girls, and Sharpay in High School Musical. Additonally, she loves marketing, and has served as social media manager for 3 theatre companies.
Currently, she studies at Mercy High School, where she is a senior in choir, honor society, and thespian troupe. Bella lives with her mom, dad, brother, and cats in Baltimore, MD. She will be majoring in musical theatre in college. Her performances are always dedicated to her late grandmother.
