Bella Comotto is an 18-year-old award winning artist based in Maryland and New York. She began her theatre career at the age of four and has since appeared in over 45 productions across the past 14 years.
A versatile mezzo-soprano who frequently transitions between vocal ranges, Bella is extensively trained in voice. She has studied consistently with acclaimed instructors Rebecca Rossello since 2017 and Cáitlín Burke since 2025, and has received coaching from numerous leading Broadway professionals. Her training includes participation in prestigious programs such as Broadway Evolved and YPA.
Bella received the Outstanding Performer Award from Young Performers of America and Jelani Alladin for her portrayal of JoJo in Seussical at Children’s Playhouse of Maryland. In 2024, she was the sole recipient of the Maryland Thespy Award in the Musical Theatre category. She made her New York City debut in 2023 at 54 Below in Zelda: A Staged Concert. Her notable stage credits include Eurydice (Hadestown), The Witch (Into the Woods), Wednesday Addams (The Addams Family), Fantine (Les Misérables), Maureen (Rent), Rizzo (Grease), Janis (Mean Girls), and Sharpay (High School Musical).

Bella is currently pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. She also works as a Party Princess Performer with Royal Events and Entertainment and as a theatre educator at Charm City Players. In addition to her performance work, Bella maintains a strong social media presence, earning nearly 800,000 views on a TikTok vocal cover in August 2025, and has served as a social media marketing manager for three theatre companies.
When not in New York City, Bella resides in Baltimore, Maryland with her family and cats. All of her artistic endeavors are dedicated to the memory of her late grandmother.
